This is the mounting kit to mount National Cycles Switchblade windshields. Super easy to install. Just be sure to put the bands that go around the fork on correctly. They are tapered to fit the fork flush. I think the first reviewer had one of the bands upside down. I know this because I put one on upside down and it was impossible to fit the spindle on. Once I realized the band was upside down and turned it over, it went on as easy as the first one did. You can install this windshield in less than 10 minutes. Once the mounting kit is installed you can switch or remove your windshield in 10 seconds. I love this windshield mounting system.

These brackets look great after installation. It only took a few minutes to get the first bracket installed and it looks great. It received 4 stars, because the second bracket took nearly an hour. The reason is two fold. First, the steel band was slightly smaller than on the first, even though they should have been the same size. By different size, I am talking maybe a half millimeter. That difference was enough to make it incredibly difficult to install. Second, the bolt that holds the lower disc was slightly too short. This caused much difficulty in trying to get the bolt to "grab" onto the threads. It took a large C clamp and some rags to keep the chrome from scratching to get it installed. After installation the product looks great and is very functional. My experience may be completely unique and I would still recommend this product. There is nothing like Cobra Floorboards as a passenger (I drive as well). The stock passenger pegs on our 2003 VTX 1800R made my feet go numb on prior season rides and I refused to be a passenger this riding season without these floorboards. They have been amazing during all of our rides and they were super easy to install. Well worth the money.
