I have taken a few years off of golf and recently started playing again. My old set of clubs were stolen, so I was in the market for Some new ones. I checked out all the full sets for under $200 and decided on the Palm Springs clubs after reading a couple of reviews. I couldnt be happier with the clubs. The driver is oversized and took a little getting used to. The hybrids in place of your low irons are perfect for me, because I cannot hit the 3/4 irons to save my life. All and all I am very happy with my new set of clubs. They arrived in about 4 days and I have been playing ever since.

Very nice set of clubs especially for beginners. I golf every so often and am not very good just wanted a decent set of clubs that were too expensive but not to cheap that they were going to break. I have went 4 or 5 times since I bought these and am very pleased. If you are someone who just wants a decent set of clubs without spending a ton of money these are the clubs for you! ;D

I recently purchased the Top-Flite XL (2010) golf set. I've never owned my own golf set, and I used to go to the driving range and borrow a friend's clubs or borrow clubs from the range. When I finally decided to start playing golf regularly, I was choosing between getting a few (3 wood, 4 iron, 6 iron, 8 iron, wedge, putter) used name-brand clubs from [...] or get a starter set. Overall the price was about the same, so I decided to go for this set here since it has more clubs and the bag. I have not regretted this decision at all--this is a great beginners set! My consistency has dramatically improved; I'm not sure if I was just using clubs that were the wrong size, or if this set is more forgiving, but with the irons in this set I'm hitting the ball much better. The hybrids are great too, much easier than the low irons. The bag is more than adequate and has lots of room. If you're just learning golf or have taken lessons and are trying to become more consistent, look no further.

I was skeptical at first about purchasing a set of golf clubs over the Internet, but after reading everyone's reviews, I felt I'd give this set a try. I just received the clubs and have only taken them to the driving range once, but I need to agree with everyone else in saying the quality of the clubs for the price is definitely a deal. I'm not trying to win any trophies out on the course, so I just wanted a set that was decent quality, constructed well and didn't cost anything absurd. This set seems to pretty much fit the bill with all of the above. And compared to the old clubs I was using, this set is made out of gold. The irons are weighted nicely so you have a great feel for the club and club head during a swing. The driver is lightweight and has a large sweet spot, so it is fairly easy to use. Really great value for the money! I'm a beginner, so I had no intention of investing in an expensive set until I got the hang of the game. The clubs are perfectly weighted and I love the oversized driver head!!
Bag comes with a driver, 3 wood, 4&5 hybrid, 6-7-8-9 iron, pitching wedge and a putter. That accounts for 10 pieces of the "13-piece set" with the remaining 3 being the bag and 2 head covers. Not to gripe too much about that last detail (because I did get what I ordered!), but I would have gladly foregone the "covers" for a sand wedge or even a lower iron like a 3 or a 5!
Overall, a great buy if you're a beginner.

These shoes are amazing. I consistently walk the course and used to wear tennis shoes just to avoid the pain of sore feet after walking 18 holes in golf shoes. I've tried everything: Footjoy, Nike, Adidas, Ecco - and all of them hurt. These shoes feel Ike a nice broken in pair of moccasins from the very first time I wore them. I was a bit concerned about not having spikes - but after playing in wet conditions without one slip - my fears were allieved. These things rock! I've thrown my other shoes away and True Linkswear will be the only things that touch my feet on a golf course again.

These are the MOST comfortable golf shoes EVER! My home course has some pretty steep cart paths and I would slip with the plastic spikes in the standard golf shoes. First I switched to tennis shoes and then I found these True lINKSWEAR! They are so comfortable i am seriously considering a solid black pair for dress.

These are not only the most comfortable shoes I've worn, they've helped stabilize my swing and improved my balance. I walk whenever possible and these shoes had zero break-in time and zero blisters. I find myself wearing them around the house (the styling is a little odd to wear to work) because they're the most comfortable shoes I own, golf or otherwise. I immediately ordered a second pair.
I hit the ball a long way, and one of my swing faults is overswinging and throwing off my balance. With these, I feel perfectly anchored to the ground and balanced -- I can swing hard and maintain perfect balance. I've started keeping my drives in play more and making more birdies as a result. I can also practice my short game and putting for longer as my back isn't getting sore after an hour or so like it does with other shoes.
Got my first pair, wore it for a week and immediately ordered a second pair. I hope these catch on -- I don't think I can go back to regular golf... Read more
