This putter has a very soft and controllable feel and if you line it up, it will go in. It really helps having the shaft "out of the way" and inspires confidence. My first impressions were "how can anyone put with that thing" until I gave it a few strokes at a Golf Galaxy head to head with my TaylorMade Rossa Daytona, and was amazed at both the feel and stability of this putter. The weight is great, it helps me keep my hands forward, and it just seems be much easier to swing straight bacck/straight through.Putters are so personal, and everyone likes something different though. Well, I was in a golf tournament a couple of weeks ago (Captains choice) and one of the people in our foursome had this weird looking putter, a two-ball backstryke. He said that his Pro friend in Florida switched over to it and swore by it, so he bought one. Needless to say, he made a majority of the putts and all of the putts outside 15 feet. I tried his a couple of times and really loved the feel of it. I went to our local pro shop and tried out the two-ball again and the Marxman. The Marxman just seemed to have a little better feel and set-up for me. I prefer to... Read more |
