Pros: - The Breedlove sounds much better then other guitars at this price. I played a lot of guitars before I settled on this one. Tone is bright and clear but also has warmth. - Construction is solid. It's a joy to play and has a great feel. - The built in "Passport Tuner VTC active pickup" is awesome. The backlit tuner works great. - Guitar sounds great when amped. Pickup has low, high and volume controls. - Looks pretty. Cons: - It doesn't have as much bass as my 15 year-old Yahama FG-450SA. Not to say bass response is lacking... it just can't match a Jumbo (but you wouldn't expect it too anyway.) Easily corrected when amped using the built in pickup. - 9V Battery holder was a little loose and knocked. I padded the battery with some cloth and that fixed it. - Can only use light-gauge strings.
