I would recommend a thicker strap (like a bass strap or a 3" strap) b/c this guitar is much heavier than a standard electric guitar (due to the clear acrylic body). The body is not exactly perfect, but it's still very presentable and cool given the clear plastic (or Lucite?). I bought this guitar with the intention of upgrading it with quality hardware and pickups, etc., and really if I could have, I would have bought just the body. I will say that the neck is surprisingly good and the frets are all filed evenly and nothing sharp to cut your fingers. I've had more expensive guitars with worse fret jobs, so Galveston did a decent job here. The neck is thin and fast, with it being made of maple and having a smooth finish, so it plays very well. This is nothing like any normal LP neck. The tuners are garbage and have a hard time holding tune, but easy to replace. The pickups and electronics are low grade, although the tone from them is decent and interesting. The neck is very bassy and fuzzy, which I kind of like for playing "stoner rock," while the bridge is...
