This ATV so far surpasses the other kid "cars" out there. It has 2 speeds, slow and really (a little scary) fast. Goes over everything , never gets stuck. In my opinion, kids have to wear a helmet on the fast speed. It's feels/looks a little tippy when they ride it at full speed when turning sharply (of course). That said, it's the best. Very very fun. It doesn't compare to anything else out there. I bought it for a 6 year old. She's 8 1/2 and loves it. So do her friends. Once they get on, that's all they do for the rest of the afternoon........However, in my opinion it should cost more like $350- $400 which is the price vicinity I purchased it at......It's an A+ in any event. You can buy a number of the other "cars" and they just don't match up. Also, in my opinion, it's for a 5 or 6 year old and older, not younger. fabulous!!, This review is from: Peg - Perego Polaris Sportsman XP850 Kids' ATV (Misc.) We got this for my sons 5th bday in Sep. he asked everyday for months for it. we he finally got it at his party he was actually afraidntomride it by himself. he didn't realize it went so fast on the youtube videos lol. it goes up to 150 pounds so I am able ride with him. finally last month he started riding his friend around and is totally having the best time ever with this. we are still keeping it in the slower speed for now. oh and the durability is great! he hit our mailbox, road through a rocky area and it goes up hills and curbs like a pro lol! the smile on my sons face is the best, he loves it and I love I can hop on too! I totally reccomment it, just don't get discouraged if your little one is a little afraid to ride alone at first. once you throw a friend in the mix to ride it with it'll be ok! |
