I recently purchased these exhaust pipes for my 08' Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 Classic LT. They installed pretty easy and in just a couple of hours (not that long depending on how organized your toolbox is). I am very satisfied with the results. The sound is a low rumble full of smooth bass at idle, similar to a small block Chevy with dual exhaust. When you put the engine under load, they really come to life with a mean, loud, growl that will get the neighborhood's attention. But, back off on the throttle, and you're back to the rumble. That makes the pipes easy on the ears and not so annoying when you just want to ride. They look great too. I didn't really notice a huge difference in power, but there definitely wasn't a decrease. I also installed the V&H Fuelpak. I would recomend them if you want smooth mellow sound at speed, but loud growl at the twist of the throttle.
