Take your time installing it as it is a pain... use tape and punch to protect the paint and prevent drill bit "walking. Mine turned out okay, but if i had to do it again, I'd pay the dealer. 2010 Goldwing. Terrible instructions is a Kuryakyn norm.

Kuryakyn makes hands down the finest mass produced add-ons for motorcycles and this luggage rack is no exception. The fit and finish of their products is second to none, as well as the aesthetic considerations that go into their designs. No standard luggage rack made of chrome tubing, this rack provides flat surfaces for your gear and curves in all the right places to help secure everything. I use mine with an Ultragard luggage rack bag (I think this is a Hopnel brand)and could not be happier. The rack is sturdy and easy to attach to and looks like a million bucks.
Be forewarned that if you choose to do the install yourself and your bike is equipped with a spoiler (thereby necessitating the use of the optional riser kit) you must be very careful about the placement of your mounting holes. The legs that attach this rack to the trunk lid are angled inward and the riser kit exaggerates those angles, causing the holes to be in a different place than if you were just mounting... Read more
