The mirrors do it very well. These mirrors are in a word awesome. They are well constructed and look great. I took them apart first to see how they were assembled inside and it was well done. I don't like to put garbage on my bike. FYI: There is an extremely small locking screw hidden underneath the mirror stem to hold the fastening screw tight. If you can't figure out why the screw won't go in smoothly, that's your answer... Why not 5 out of 5? I felt that the braided cable could have passed through the bottom of the bar for a sharper look. As it is, it comes off the bottom of the stem and you have to wrap it down the cable, not awful looking but not perfect. I'm not sure how it could have been better though.
