I don't even know where to begin. First of all, this IS a Halo game, so if you're a fan of any other Halo games, you'll need to check this out. I've been a fan of Halo since the creation of the series, and, to me, each game has been an improvement on the last (with a few exceptions of small things I liked in Halo 2 that didn't carry over to Halo 3). Unlike the previous games, ODST is not very multi-player oriented, with the exception of Firefight (a mode where up to four players fight against endless waves of covenant; think Nazi Zombies) and co-op campaign. Still, it offers a new sense of exploration that hasn't been seen yet in the Halo series, especially in the Mombasa Streets level. Also, I should note that all of the campaign levels, except the first few and last few, can be played in any order. The closest thing I can describe it as is a cross between the Halo we know and love, and something like Metroid Prime.
