This guitar will do that. I'm a 51 year old guitar player and I've played in dance bands since the mid 70's. I like the saying "One can never have too many guitars". I have about a dozen or so and about half of them are big name 2500+ models. I wanted a 000 size to leave out so I could pick it up anytime inspiration strikes. Finding a decent guitar for not alot of money is tough, then trying to find it online without hearing it is a real task. I searched all over and finally clicked on this one.It arrived double boxed in great shape. I took it out and tuned it up and it sounded great. Mine came with a hang tag stating it was strung with D'Addario strings which are my favorite. The tuners are nice and smooth, after the strings settled in it is holding tune very well. I was impressed that this model cam with a bone nut and saddle. This is very important for a good tone. Most lesser expensive... It arrived via Fedex double boxed and in perfect condition. Even the box looked like it had been handled with care. The setup was decent and after a quick tune up I was playing it. I was amazed at how easy it was to play although there was a little buzz on the B string on the second fret. The 1 3/4 nut width is perfect for me as I like a little wider neck. The solid spruce top was tight grained. I am really impressed with the bone nut and saddle that is not usually found on guitars at this price. The tuners work well and seem to be of a decent quality for an inexpensive guitar. The sound is nice and gentle with plenty of volume for a concert/parlor size body. The finish on my example is adequate but not spectacular. The gloss finish really seems to me more like a satin and in certain light conditions I can see some small areas where the finish is thinner than other places on the body. The finish is not too... I CANT PUT IT DOWN!!! For the money this IS a Fantastic instrument!! It came with D'addario strings, nicely packaged, and after tuning her up I discovered a Brilliant and clear solid wood guitar tone that you would expect to pay Alot for!! I am a die-hard Martin guy so when I wanted a 000 style guitar I looked around and happen to find it here, I don't have $1500.00 for a Martin 000 so I ordered this one and I figured I could yard sale it if I didn't like it....Well long story short, This one is staying right here!! It's playability and the solid wood body, and back, bone nut and saddle make it Very easy to play!! The neck is big but not too much, but I have big hands...If your looking for a starter or an addition to your collection that looks just as good as it plays, this is the one, I love the matte finish, because I have found over the years that gloss finishes tend to be sticky when your playin hard and sweaty...my opinion anyway, I will...
