My main criteria was that the fins should be short - I had very little previous experience swimming in fins and wanted something easy for a start. I also wanted them to fit in a carry-on sized luggage easily. These worked out great. They are inexpensive, well-made and very comfortable even on bare feet. They're not very fast, but I didn't expect them to be fast given their size. According to Cressi's 2010 catalog, the sizes for these fins are as follows: XS/S 2/4 S/M 4/7 M/L 7/10 L/XL 10/13 For stats, I'm male, 24, have a narrow foot and usually wear size 10 - size M/L turned out a good fit. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful ![]() By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Cressi Palau SAF Fin (Sports) Good product for the price. I wear men's US 13, they fit great, haven't encountered and problems yet, good for simple beach vacations. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful ![]() Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Cressi Palau SAF Fin (Sports) These are a good exercise fin and I have used them to snorkle in the Bahamas. Not very powerful for heavy surge or current. Heel strap is problematic in that it wants to come off. I have swam out of them. Made a foam rubber pad to go over the heel strap and it helped tremendously. Over all a good product for travel and light snorkeling. NOT a dive fin. Good value for the money! |
