During our vacation we snorkeled or scuba dived every day. These fins held up fine for both activities. They are very flexible and short in length, good for manuvering around in small areas, i.e. near a boat with lots of people. Obviously, larger fins are much better for long distances, i.e. large coves. Easiest way to think about these fins is compared to a bike gears. These fins are good if your kick style is fast, like Lance Armstrong going up a hill. Large fins are better for long, flat streches and strong leg muscles.The selling point for these fins is that they are cheap. If they get stolen off the beach or lost during a flight, we really didn't care. In fact, we thought about just leaving them at the hotel rather than lugging them back home. Ideal for kids under 16. |
