These are really great fins! Lightweight, easy to clasp and unclasp (though sometimes my fiancee has trouble with hers while wearing diving gloves), and really a smooth fin in the water. Very smart design from Mares with the "hinge" in the blade - makes a big difference in the upstroke/downstroke resistance! And best of all - they just barely fit into the middle size of my luggage set! So lightweight that I can fit a set of fins, boots, gloves, masks, snorkels, and ankleweights for both myself and my fiancee and still have about 18 lbs of available weight before the standard checked luggage limit. |
